I’m trying to research best method to replace fuel tank crossmember that is rusted out. Items I’m seeking insight for:

1. fuel tank bracket? Are these even made or available to purchase

2. what type of pipe (type of steel) to get to replace the crossmember.

3. do and don’t went cutting it out and using a air chisel to get the welded pipe out of frame.
