Just replaced my fuel pump and the fuel tank looked pretty rusty inside. Can this one be cleaned out or would it be better to buy a new one and where would the best place to buy one if i need it ???
Thanks

I have cleaned rusty tanks by filling them with steel shot or ceramic media for tumbling and then rolling and shaking them till its all cleaned off. Then putting on a gas tank rust treatment.

Works pretty good.

OK ,, thanks , I found two products that work on fuel tanks "Ospho" and POR 15 . I tried the ospho and it looks like it did a good job so far.

If your tank is still out of the truck, a local radiator shop should be able to clean/boil the tank out and get it cleaned pretty good.
