ok so bear with me i have searched and been reading and learning and sorry on puncuation im on my phone. so ill start i recently decided on testing the waters on my friends hill climb in 2wd i made close to the top and it would bog out instead of just spinning so i backed down and hit it again and it flooded out and died backing down again and it was flooded so it took like 5 min to start and i called it quits . im thinking its gettin to much gas so i learned that stock pressure is what 7 ish is what ive read and since i put my new 32 36 on i read they only need 2.5 or 3 . so a regulator is in order right? my ? is can i get one at knechts or auto part store and how do i adjust them and what one to get how to test the pressure on my 84 sorry about the long paragraph im on my phone any help is greatly appreciated thank you

If you want to install a fuel pressure regulator then purchase an adjustable one. You can dial in the pressure you want.
I would suggest looking at your float setting... You are having problems on a hill climb but not on level surfaces. Sounds to me like you need to adjust your float setting.
I've ran 32/36 webers at 7psi with no issues.

For checking fuel pressure you will need a fuel pressure guage installed after your fuel pump. Crank the engine 4 or 5 revolutions to build pressure and you'll get your reading.

Remember, you can't just install an aftermarket carb and expect it to work flawlessly, you need to tweak on it to ensure trouble free driveability.

ive also been lookin at a plate for weber at detoursusa something like that its a incline equalizer figured id have one made for a toy if adjusting the floats and a reg didnt completly fix it

Popular fix is to add a vent tube in the carb:

Lets excess fuel drain in the air cleaner housing instead of pouring down inside the carb.
