Frame plugs?

I have a 93 v6 pickup and I was cleaning around looking at stuff and noticed frame plugs? I'm missing half of them and they seem to just hold dirt and crap in there. Take them off or clean them up and put them back in and get more to replace missing ones. Any info would be great thanks

Just what are you talking about?/

There are rubber plugs that go into the body .

Has to be some thing that was done.

Then living in the great Brine Belt if they were factory they are long gone by the time the trucks went through my hands.

Well like I said I have never seen them.

Pretty amazing a truck that old still has them.

First time I have ever heard of them. About all they would really do is hold the water and other liquids in .

It seems to be the drain holes getting plugged that helps the frames rust.
