Flat towing a '93 4runner w/ 5 speed trans...?

Hey everyone. I picked up a '93 4runner w/ 5 speed not long ago and the previous owners used to flat tow this rig behind their motor home. It's obviously set up already so I'm just wondering exactly how to go about towing it. From what I've read the consensus is to set the key to auxiliary, leave the transfer case in 2H, manual trans in N, and disconnect the rear driveshaft at the axle. Can anyone please confirm this setup? Thanks everyone.

Sounds about right. Do not tow it in neutral as you’ll kill bearings in t-case. Could pony up and get a FROR full-floater kit, use locking hubs on rear. Then just simply unlock them to tow, but only if you have the extra $$$$ burning a hole in your pocket.
