i have had all types of exhaust on my 3.0. i had a long thrush glasspack and it had noise but wont really loud and sounded kinda ricey. then i had straight pipes and that was really really loud and popped and was really raspy but it was way to loud. then i put on a 8" glasspack and it sounded like the straights did but not as loud. im now running a cherry bomb extreme and its still pretty loud but its way more deeper and throaty than the glasspacks. this is all with hi flow cats to. hoped that helped some

haha well no cat and 8" glasspack would be really obnoxious. put a long cherry bomb glasspack on it and its not loud enough take the cat off. it will only cost ya bout 30 bucks man

i had to run my thrush glasspack w/o a cat for a while with no tailpipe when my whole exhaust from the cat to the tip completely fell off and it sounded great. pretty loud in the cab because the glasspack was right under it in the cats place but people really heard you. BackGate, on a scale of 1-10, rating your exhaust setup, how do you like it? im real interested in getting a c.b extreme

No matter what you go with, you need to add one of these.
