Hello everyone, So I did a 84 22re swap to a 85, So I get everything back together and it sounds like its struggling to turn over like there is not enough power, I boosted with my daily also booster pack still the same... Anyone have this problem before? Please let me know if anyone has any ideas, I got power inside car the dash lights headlights work ect… I heard the engine running before the guy pulled it, here is the video

This could be either a mechanical issue or an electrical issue.

First, check to see if you can turn over the engine "by hand" with a ratchet and socket on the crank pulley bolt without binding. Removing the spark plugs will help you feel how the engine turns without feeling the engine compression.

If the engine turns over just fine by hand, you have an electrical problem, either with the starter itself, the wiring and connections going to it, or bad block to starter to battery grounding.

Do you have a multimeter and know how to use it?
