New engine
Hey All,
I am putting in my engine and got to thinking about bolting the trans
and T'case to it, adding the starter and putting it in in one shot.
Any thoughts? good idea/ bad idea?
Tips and tricks to make it go smoother?

I'll get some up this weekend!
Yeah it is sweet having a nice clean engine and compartment, the trans and tcase are also nice and clean.
I wont have time to get it started until the weekend, hope it all goes smoothly
I gotta get the new ball joints and shocks on, repack the wheel bearings and I should be ready to get on the road.
Fun stuff

They kind of slip right in as an assembly. Just need to guide the output flange over the front cross support. If you run out of ground clearance you lift the frame onto Jack stands.

It is real nice to bolt everything to the engine with the trans and Tcase all torqued down and slide it in.
I will put pictures up if any one is interested.
