I know the timing on my 1987 22R (carbureted) is to be set at 0*... rpm not exceed 950rpm. Make sure vacuum advance lines are unplugged from your distributor and the lines themselves are capped. This should be printed under your hood.

 

his is efi. 15 degrees though seems kinda high, I think it's supposed to be 5 BTDC with the jumper in place.

 

yea im gonna retard it a little my next day off, i have to dig back in there because it looks like my oil pump is leaking a little i might of pinched that rubber seal when i put it on does anyone know the torque spec. for the oil pump by any chance?
