Difference between windows?

While shopping for different pickups. 1993~1995. I noticed this one had an extra window on both sides. Was that an option? I did notice it was an sr5 made in japan, while the other was without the window was made in cali.

I highly doubt that is the difference because I have seen some dx models made in japan with the same extra window, even with the 22r. Even the mirrors are mounted in different locations.

you mean an xtra cab VS a regular cab? its totally normal. just an extra option. The mirror mounted further up without the wing window just indicates it has power mirrors, and most likely power windows.

Xtra cab:

Regular cab:

wait, no nevermind. You're referring to the triangle window by the mirror as the "extra window", right? Its called the "wing window", its just an "upgrade" not to have them, as not having them is more modern, and again is usually absent when you have power windows or power mirrors

No not the ext cab window. I'm talking about the small triangle window. I've seen it on a dx model as well (no power windows.) Look >> http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/ctd/2820593953.html

Wing windows. Pretty popular back in the day when smoking cigs was still cool. They create a nice air-flow without a lot of noise or can use them when smoking ciggies! Dont have to have the window open a lot
