I don't run a sway bar on my truck. It barley makes any diff without it.

Not 100% sure on a '92, but a diff drop on mine is super easy. Take the bolts out, slip the spacers in, put the new longer bolts back in and tighten.

Another vote for ditching the sway bar.
Or rather, I vote for removing it, keeping it in your garage for a few weeks, realizing you can't really tell the difference onroad and that offroad you feel like a virgin touched for the very first time, and THEN ditching it.

I have no sway bars either, but I disagree that you won't notice a difference on road. If you are driving on the freeway at 65 and someone cuts you off and you have to swerve all of a sudden, there's a much greater risk of loosing control and flipping. I can feel a lot more body roll on the highway and I have also lifted a front tire completely off the road before while turning a corner fast. Is it worth it for off road ability? Yes, but just be careful making sudden manuvers on road.

super easy install for both

spray the bolts down with penetrating lube the day before and it might make things a little easier just a matter of removing the bolts, dropping the diff a little, sandwiching the spacer in, and putting the new bolts through and tightening down. do yourself a favor though and replace the end links on the sway bar while you're in there

I opted to keep the sway bar and install the drop on my 91 Pickup

just fyi... you may have increased vibration in the front driveline when in 4wd. Atleast thats what happened to me after the diff drop. I may pull the 1" spacers out and cut them to 1/2"
