i have found a Dana 44 strait axle for $100 comes with leafs hubs every tang but hangers i thought i cant go wrong i am new to the 4x4 world and am bond and determent to do this swap the only problem is that i don't know how but wanting to learn so that i can help people in the future i have a 86 runner ifs of courses i was wondering if any one can give me step by step directions on how to do this swap all help will be appreciated thanks for your time. i am going to go pic it up on Saturday do some research and hopefully have it started the following weekend

 

Get an '85 or older stock toyota 4x4 front axle.

i did the home work and fond out that its not worth it so instead i am buying a Toyota one for $200 complete hub to hub with lefs and all so that is not to bad of a deal

 

sell the dana to someone with a jeep. you should get enough to do your whole swap. just out of curiosity tell us a little about your truck and what you expect to gain out of this swap.
