damaged turbo!
happy new year everyone!
i'm having a problem with my turbo. My truck is a model 91 Toyota Hilux Surf 2.4LTE. I noticed that the green light on the front panel does not light when it hits 2200rpm. Previously it does light, but after new year i came to notice that it won't even if reach 3000rpm. The bulb doesn't seem to be broken because it lits during ignition. What is wrong with my turbo ? Is it damaged ? how can i check its' functionability ?

is there still a whistling sound that starts around 2200-2500 rpms? do you feel any change in power over the RPM range? Do you understand what a turbo is and how it works? I'm assuming the green light designated positive pressure in the intake.
