Load sensing proportioning valve.
It will send more power to the rear if you have a load in the ass end.
You dont want to cut it off, unless you want to buy a manual proportioning valve
Doesnt look like its connected to the trac bar either..

What scuba said.
It was connected to the panhard bar from that extension.
You can cut the rod and bungee cord it up. That is what is done often, or so ive seen.
or you can go to summitracing.com and buying a manual proportioning valve.

if you bungee it up the LSPV will think you have a large load in the rear of the truck and apply more pressure to the rear brakes (i think that is how it works
)
-as it moves up it applies allows more brake fluid to move to the back brakes..
