Gear driven case behing auto?

Did a gear driven T-Case ever come mated to an automatic with the 22re?
I could have sworn I saw a gear driven case on a 3rd gen auto pickup the other day.

x2 - all the ones I know have the tcase integrated into the automatic transmission.

Inchworm adapter is the only way I know of - and it costs BANK.

Darn. I was really really hoping there was. Ive heard of some guys swapping in the auto from a jeep cherokee as it had a gear driven T-Case and it supposedly will bolt right up. I dont think id ever put a jeep transmission on my yota but I was just wondering if it could be done

They aren't JEEP auto trannys that are in JEEPS, they are AISINS.

I'm using the inchworm automatic adapter to attach my 21 spline grear driven transfer case to my A30-41L automatic and it works fine. The cost was $550.

Note - that cost is just for the adapter, doesn't include the gear drive tcase or anything else!

Ive hear that running a gear driven case greatly helps with the power loss from an automatic. Is this true?
Did you notice any differences before or after Gennro?

Instead of having two automatic transmissions, there's only one. (The automatic tcase is just a 2 speed automatic transmission)
