Question Axle gearing...

From what I am gathering my 2003 4Runner V8 Limited comes stock with 3.83 gearing. I know there are options to go up to 3.90 and possibly others, but I can't find anything going the other direction. I would prefer possibly 3.55 or maybe even lower. Can anyone help?

You know 3.55 is a higher gear ratio then 3.83 right? If that's actually what your looking for it'd be cheaper to just put taller tires on it, it'd have the same effect

fyi, lower rpm doesn't always mean better fuel economy.

If thats what your going for, buy a little car.

I guess this comes down to the old question, what are you trying to do?
