Aussie newbie

Hey guys i'm a newbie to the forums and to 4-runners also. Bought me a 1990 3.0l diesel 4-runner bout 4 months ago. Has 220,000 kms on the clock but other wise is in good nick. Just put in a new clutch and had the brakes redone. She's blowing a bit of smoke and is struggling for power though :o( Going to get the injectors checked and a compression test done. Any advice for if her motors on the way out ? Here are some pics

Thanks mate. Yeah the 3.0L diesel isn't too bad. She's fitted with a 113L long range tank also, previous owner had it fitted. Has poly air bags in the back also as he used to tow a van with it - hence why she's sagging. Going to look at taking out the poly air and putting some new coils in the back. Might even go for some more height all around. Not sure yet.

Welcome to TY, You got the nice 3.0 Diesel.
Dont worry about the $$, You got the most expensive part of 2gens out of the way (The engine), You will find quite a few cheap and simple mods and many connections and info on the ones that may take a few buck.

Welcome. I spent a month in AUS and loved it. I actually went to school there for a day. Got to play Cricket and watched some poor kid get tagged in the head with the cricket bat. Ouch!

I spent some time in the Outback and on Dunk Island. Beautiful country! Phoenix and parts of Australia are similar in a lot of ways; great places to have a rugged Toyota at your disposal.
