Im Looking for a thread or any info on how to install my altimeter/tilt gauge on my 2nd gen 4runner.

I didn't find any threads on this but it is fairly easy. The altimeter has a bracket with four studs that should protrude through the dash and bolt down. But since yours is a second gen the inclo might not sit level,the older dashes were flatter I believe.

 

That for sure it will need some fitting... but what about the plug in part?

 

The only electrical connection is for the backlight, the rest is mechanical. You could put it on its own switch, or wire it into your lights so it turns on when you have your lights on
