Alright, I'm desperate and I know it
Long story told short. I am 99% sure i've got a leaky headgasket, pulled/changed plugs this weekend and lucky cylinder #3 shows signs; along with white smoke, coolant loss and a horrible surging sound.
I have another engine but i'm waiting till spring so I can put that in along with a new clutch and a do a cab swap. Not something i want to try to do in the winter. with 2 feet of snow and freezing cold temps.
I've put in bars leak, with not much success, a friend of mine says i should try K-seal instead and they've never had success with bars leak. Now i know you really try best to avoid to sentencing the engine to death, and i'm trying/would like to, as little damage as possible, i had oped to put this engine into a different toyota i have, but Should i drain all coolant do a flush and then add the kseal or does it really not matter and the 2 different types will be ok?

Don't put any stock in those miracle sealers, they aren't a fix by any stretch of the imagination. Even if it somehow manages to seal it's living on borrowed time.
I know it hurts to hear this but fix it the right way.

I can`t remember the product name but the School bus garages Swear by it.
It is not cheap @ $60.00 or so. It gets the bus engines through the school season so the engine can be repaired correct in the summer.
Using any of these products one needs to follow directions for it to work !!
Sometimes in the real world one does not have the time or place perhaps to do what should be done.
