95 T-100 and spray washer...uggh!

Ok..As you can tell this is my first post but I've lurked around for awhile. I am the original owner of a stock 95 T-100 extended cab 4x4 with 144k on it. It has never missed a beat......never....awesome truck just like my other 3 Toyota 4x4's ive owned in the past. Ok....I got the hots for a new FJ cruiser and was wanting to clean up my engine at the car wash before I sold it.......After spraying down my engine and driving it home......the next morning my truck is missing and driving like crap. I let it dry out and I'm on my third day and it still is missing badly. I went out last nite in the dark and tried to look for some sparks from my coils and plug wires but couldnt see anything? I got my air compressor and blew out my alternater and around the coil packs? any ideas greatly appreciated..... I think my t-100 sensed that I was going to dump her and she is making me pay......thanks Mark

I have the 3400 4 cam engine and all I see are the coils over the 3 spark plugs and wires going across to the other 3 plugs?

Pulled off all the coil connections and sprayed with WD-40. Pulled out the plugs and cleaned them up. They looked pretty good.....I dunno?

Ok.......I let my truck idle for 10 minutes or so...It was running rough at first....Then it was liike it took a liking to the new plugs and started purring like usual.....I took it for a test drive and it ran like a champ. Not a miss...My check engine light is still on? Does it need to be reset? Thanks to all......I'm a happy guy....I'm worse than a shade tree mechanic....I'm a shade tree with tools with no knowledge to use them.....Thats why I've bought Toyota since 1980. Forums like these are a blessing for a noobie like me.......thanks again

just either pull the efi fuse, or disconnect the battery for about an hour. that should reset the light
