With that much lift i would go with 5.29s it will give you room to grow in the future if you step up to 35s or decide to go even bigger.

Yea that's what i was thinking of going with just kinda needed to know what and what i would need to do the swap and a good place to order it from. i looked around and found the gearing in a frw other places but don't really know if they are what they say and will last.

www.gearinstalls.com is a great place to get educated on it.

how big of tires are you wanting? and what motor do you have?

and he states in his 1st post he wants 529s.

well i'm looking at the biggest running 35's. i have a 22re full rebuilt. I originally was looking at running 488's then looked into 529's but don't know how the 529's will do because i do use my truck to go to work.

Thought 4" body lifts were illegal?

Post a pic of this thing. Personally I would pull the bodylift. With 6" you can clear 36's

5.29's and 35's are the perfect match

Yes sorry it is a 3" Body. I would love to take the body lift off because im not really fond of body lifts but when i had the fabing done for the strait axle on the front end they fabed the horse shoe bracket for the shock to close the the inside fender weld. So in order to take off the body lift i would have to notch the fender so the bracket would be able to go through/clear!

Why a 12.5" wide tire on a 14.5" wide wheel? 10" wide max

The rims and tires came together that way. They were free so can't complain. I'm changing everything as I go along.

k this is the real specs for my 91 toy.
- Front end conversion to strait axel.
-full rebuilt 22re
-15x12 Dick Cepek DC-1 Wheels.
-33x12.5 bf all terrains
-6" suspension with 3" body.
this is the real specs on my truck i had my friend post the prior posting's so that is why there was mix up's.

What i'm looking to do
- Gearing "Prefer 529's" whatever is better for highway/off road use.
- Going up to 35in Tires.

Thing's in the future
- Pulling intake manifold and transferring over to carb.

Why are you switching to a carb? Most guys try to go the other way. What tranny are you running? My auto can boogie on the freeway with 5.29's but 4Lo is still pretty low. 5.29's and 35's with a manual would be perfect. I would definately address that tire/wheel situation, like Ocdropzone said, 10" wide wheel max for a 12.5" tire. With your current setup the rim is going to be wider than your tread.
