If your engine now has a dual row chain Then yes just go buy one from parts are us.

I fail to see why people think they need a dual row timing chain on such a low horse power engine

The guides and tensioner wear just as fast

Maybe wings on the back of pick ups??

its not so much the chain as the guides 84 didnt come with the dual row thats why im converting and my plastic guide is broken at the bolt and its only a matter of time before it breaks then the chain will eat thru case into water gallery its a common thing the 82 and older have the dual row with metal backed guides that dont break

If the timing cover has enough room so the chain guide is not keeping the cover to far away to bolt to the block like it should.

I will say most likely not but without taking some measurements it is a guess.

the lc eng site leads me to believe i dont need to get the cover when doing the dual row conv so i suspect toyota used the same cover when they switched to single for first two years so i should b able to use that gaurd
