If its in reasonably good condition, then no. I paid 1200. for my 86 4Runner and it was a basket case and ive spent the last two years putting it back together.
Post a picture so we can see it. Here is a picture of mine.

Thanks, it didn`t look anything like that when i got it. Ive got over 8000 dollars into it and counting. Make a signature and list all of the mods to your truck so we can see what`s been done to it.

If you don`t know what you want to do with your 4Runner, the best thing you can do is start reading and searching the forums here, and you will come up with all kinds of ideas. I will tell you this because your new, and that is do things right the first time, don`t be cheap when it comes to buying parts or doing any mods to your 4Runner. Pay the money to buy the better parts you want and if you can`t install them your self, then pay someone that knows what there doing to install them. This is a hobby that everyone here enjoys but its not worth your life if things arn`t done right.

^^^ Listen to him.
Everytime i get on yota tech i start itching and i get 3 different urges...
1. Go find a rock to climb
2. Go find some mud to crawl through.
3. Search the internet for stuff i can buy for my yota

Just stick with us, you'll do just fine haha.
