i want to run 33's on my 3rd gen but without a 4" lift or a body lift so can i see what you guys are running

but if you're lazy....just mount up the 33's...then see where they rub at...and trim, cut, pound that part...until they don't rub no more...then yer good.

 

but i have bushwacker cut out flares the ones that dont have the pockets but they dont open up the wheel well eather so if i cut i got that to worry about too

 

you cant fit 33's a 3rd generation stock. I've tried 3in leveling kit and blocks in the rear is the only way and biggest u can run is a 285 and thats with a 1/4 spacer.

 

if you have a 1990 toyota you have a fifth gen toyota i have a fourth gen 87 yota with a 2 inch body and 35's with minor fendor trimming

since i'm pretty sure 99% of people on here refer to the "gen's" as being 1st gen 79-83, 2nd gen 84-88 (89 4runner) and 3rd gen 89-95 (90 4runner)

and what is your definition on "minor trimming"

you say you have a 2" body lift "minor trimming" and 35's...lets see some pics i love low rigs with big tires lol

 

3rd gen truck meaning 89-95, 33x10.50 will fit with no lift on the stock rims with very minor trimming (if any).

The key to fitting the tallest possible tire is the wheel offset/backspacing and keeping them narrower.
