3/4 ton axle swap front and rear on 91 toyota

im wanting to put 3/4 ton axles under the front and rear of my stock 91 toyota pickup. what would be the easiest way and are there any major problems with this

4WD have the 1 Ton axles stock.
2WD are 1/2 ton normally.
But, yes, if you want to upgrade, you need to go to 60's. A D44 is at best a lateral move, and realistically, a step down in strength.

One ton Toy rear ends are actually kind of a goofy hybrid between the 8" center and smaller, 2WD outers IIRC.
He is correct though, unless you're simply going for the added width, a 60 front is the next step up, stock to stock, a D44 and a Toyota 8" are about the same, and you can make the Toyota stuff a lot stronger for relatively cheap in comparison. If I were you, I would do the conventional SAS with a solid Toyota axle.

Asked about this in another thread to no avail. I'm interested in finding an option for swapping out my rear end to match the track width of the front with T100 axles after I install a TC LT kit.
Would a T100 rear be the easiest way to go? How about a Tundra rear? What problems/difficulties can I expect? Any links? I have searched both here and on Google for this and haven't found much of anything.

Either a T100 or Tundra will match, but they won't be able to use your current thirdmember, which could add considerably to the cost if you have a rear locker already.
Another option would be a Diamond (or other) custom housing.
My recommendation though if you're gonna use the LT as it's intended is to install a FROR full floater kit using IFS hubs/rotors. That will match the width of the front, give you disc brakes, and provide a more robust rear axle.

If you are trying to match the front, you'll need spacers even with a taco/3rd gen rear axle and the FROR kit. FROR gets you to 63.5". Front will be 6" wider than stock at 65".
Stock difference front to rear is 59" front, 58.5" rear.
If you are okay with the difference, then the FROR kit is a great choice.

I'm not locked in the front or rear. I did read an article on the floater rears and they looked nice. The minor difference in width with one of them doesn't bother me too much but what sort of cost am I looking at? $1500 for the kit plus all the extras?
Also, how exactly does installing this full floater rear increase my track width by so much? It looks nice and all, but in terms of cost would this be comparable to using a junked T100/Tundra rear?

It increases the width if you use IFS hubs because they have more offset built into them.
