Just tryin to get some input on any possible options, other than what I know I eventually have to do....Budget does not allow to replace, so anyone that can take a peek at my truck photos & offer their two cents, Id really appreciate it!

Hard to tell anything from those photos. Learn how to post a photo on the site, around 800x600 fits nicely, and give us some more info.

I know what those parts are but what are we suppose to be looking at. The only difference between yours and mine are that most of what you have is shiny...

so the tranny and or t-case leaks a bit. Add fresh oil and check it every now and then.

Yeah dude, I am still tracking down all the leaks in mine. I found the transfer case leak, gonna find the transmission leak so I can go order a couple gaskets. Check your fluids and keep running that thing down the road, just like everyone else.

so the leaks you found in your transfer case, the fix is a gasket? Did you have to take the entire thing apart?
Check the fluid all the time, I was hoping to get some advice on any temporary repair/solution for the leaks, so Im not leaving puddles of fluid everywhere I go, until the cash comes along to do it properly.
thanks for the reply!

Well it looks as if someone used a liquid gasket of some sort on yours, it may have found a week spot or the oil could be eating at it.

If it's too bad then yes you will have to drop the t-case and replace the gaskets with the correct ones. May as well drop the trany and do the clutch while your in there if you have a ton of miles on it. It's not hard but a real PITA to do that's all. I have not had the t-case off yet (soon though) but I know of people who have.

May also be the rear main leaking as well or the trans leaking into the bell housing. The one picture looks as if the drain plug maybe leaking.

yeah mine looks like a rear output seal behind my companion flange thats leaking. Mine doesn't leave puddles on the ground, so yours sounds a little more serious. If you can track em down and fix it yourself, you could save alot of money. Some seals don't require dropping the case, others do. Just be sure you got the right source of the leak or you will just keep chasing it around. I have degreased mine and drove it around a couple times to narrow it down. Good Luck!

There is most definatly the rear main seal leak.. Liquid gasket? Would they have just put it around the seams?? I also noticed some of the leaks are coming out of the bolts, went to tighten them a bit, they seemed pretty tight...
