Low air pressure or maybe a brake line that is collapsing inside and causeing the caliper to release slowly.

Are you sure your brakes are fine? It sounds like your caliper might be seized up because that is what happened to mine. Does it pull all the time or is it sometimes when you let off the brakes?

Here's personal experience.

Ball joints wear, they may look good but they move around under pressure. How do you know they are good? Mine were bad and the truck jumped around too much on rough surfaces. All four got replaced and it started tracking through the potholes rather than around them.

Tie rod ends are easy. Have a friend rock the steering wheel back and forth and feel for movement in all the joints, that is not correct. Watch both pittman arms for up & down movement. Does the steering box input match the output? Have said friend drive over boards or logs or something and watch for that "wrong" movement from the mechanism.

Brake calipers seize, I've seen it so often its like the sun rising sometimes. Check for uneven pad wear, if its more than a little replace it.

Trucks don't suddenly start pulling to one side for no reason, something is worn out; or you bent it on a rock or pothole.

The truck will tell you whats wrong, you just have to see the message.

You didn't say how many miles are on it, but anything over 100k; you would not be wrong to replace the upper ball joints since they carry the weight of the truck on them due to the torsion bar suspension. YMMV

Well thats a horse of a different color..... Should have mentioned that in the first post. Got pics?

Could the axle be bent? Leafs or links? Hows your steering hooked up?

That looks like a 85 mini truck axle with a TG truss on it, not a LC axle.

I would check your trunnion bearings.
