I think some of the plugs for some electrical parts and possible the computer?
some chatter going around about MAFs having different resistance for some years???
Someone smart should be along soon to lay it out?

as long as you change out the sensors from the 1988 motor to the 1995 motor you will not have to change out the wiring harness at all nor the computers. the mechanical parts of the motor are exactly the same.
