WTB[MidWest]: Fuel level sender for digital dash

Turbo level sender
You can repair yours with a winding from a regular 4Runner sender. The only difference is that the end of the coil is grounded on the digital which makes it read opposite. You need to remove the tin cover, unsolder the damaged winding (the wire is probably broken) and replace the winding with a good one. The winding is held down with 2 small tabs, just straighten them out and gently pry up with a small screwdriver and it will pop right out. I've repaired quite a few of these :-)

Holy crap, that is fantastic information!!!
Mine is actually not the winding that is the problem, but I have not continuity from the arm through the pivot to the contact that the wire is soldered to.
I managed to get the pivot apart to clean the contacts, so we'll see if that works. But if the winding does fail, I'm glad to know there's a way to fix it!
