I was on Car-Part.com searching for a first get short bed and I recalled them having a couple cabs. It's somewhere in PA. If by chance to do go there to get a cab, check to see if they have a decent shortbed for me. Thank you!

Called warrington autoparts. had to check. called back saying the cab was shot. extremely rusted. and they had no beds.

My request was mostly directed to west coasters. considering they have rust free trucks. my hope was someone rolled a truck or in accident. and they would cut out floors and ship.

njtrekker, I'm going for a factory look. I hate the stepside! I've actually sold the fiberglass fenders already while I've been going on the engine rebuild. We're close enough to each other that we can look out for parts for each other. If I see a nice cab I'll let you know and keep a look out for a decent shortbed for me. There is an 82 running around town that I can never find out where it lives. It's in pretty good shape and I'm planning on buying it if I can ever get a hold of the guy. If/when I do, I'll set you up with a good deal on the cab and any other parts you may be looking for.

kawazx636, I did see that. That guy sells alot of toyota parts. believe I've purchased from him before. truck looks to be in good shape also. think i will give him a call to see what he wants. see if it is feasible. to make the trip.

 

NJ, I saw this on eBay tonight. It's isn Roanoke, VA so it's not too far away. The truck itself is pretty rough, but you never know what's under those vinyl floors.

Seen that also. looks to be in bad shape. I'm sure those floors are shot,.based on the rust on the outside. my thought process is for someone with a rust free truck thats been in accident or rolled. and the floors are still in good shape. is to get them instead of cutting up a good cab. A cab swap is not going to work for what I'm trying to do.

 

I have the inner fenders and rad support from a 1983 i scrapped out that has a nice battery area no rust. Plus i have a roof section with factoryu sunroof. I got about 12 of these style trucks for parts. Pm me and give you my number.
