Tan Froth under oil cap
Hey Guys,
Just changed the oil today in my 2005 4Runner v6 and had to clean out a buildup of tan froth in the oil cap. IIRC, I had to do this last time as well. I have been running Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic since 40k miles (now at 95k) and change the oil every 5k miles.
My search so far on the subject has indicated it could be from coolant getting into the oil. What do you guys think? Have you seen this? The oil came out looking normal with no indications of water. Should I worry about it?
Sorry I didn't take a picture, hopefully someone can still chime in.
Thanks in advance

It's my wife's car and the majority of the driving is in town and relatively short. Running for 15 minutes at a time maybe. We do take it on trips maybe twice a month.
What are you thinking? Could it just be regular condensation moisture evaporating out of the oil? Sure hope it's not a coolant issue. No unusual exhaust smells or oil contamination that I can tell, but I'm not sure what I would be looking for.
Thanks for the quick response!
