Stock 16" rims to 15x8

I was wondering if this is possible since my old 15x8's were a 3 5/8" backspacing? Reason being...I have brand new 32's on the 4runner with these rims and I'm wanting to trade them out on the Taco since the ex is complaining of poor gas mileage on the 4runner now. Plus I'm not going without my rims and tires....it will be these rims on this Taco

With these tires...but you couldn't make out the beadlock rings. These are 32x11.50 BFG AT's

You need to check how much room you have, I don't think the 15" rims will be able to clear your brake calipers...

It's a common problem on 3rd gen 4runners (and similar year Tacos), since your truck comes stock with 16's, I assume you won't be able to use 15" rims.

Like I said, check to make sure though. Also look for any possible places it might rub on your control arms or anything else.

Yeh I might have to do that this weekend...just pull the front tires off and go from there. I just checked the front calipers on the Taco and it looked like there was maybe an inch or so clearance between the rim and dust shield all the way around. Don't think this will happen...

Thanks man...I got over $1,200 invested in tires and rims, but did my own powder coating on the rings.

what vehicle are these 15x8's going on? I ask because if it's going on a 2003+ 4runner / 2005+ Taco, it won't fit.

Only if you have zero backspacing... sorry dude it won't work unless the entire brake is physically outside of the rim.
