spacers
So I just installed some spacers in the front of my 2010 Taco to level the front with the back. Came out looking pretty good. Well at least better than that stock look where the truck looks like a muscle car with all that rake!
Anybody else out there rolling with this type of set up? Its not the kind where you have to compress the springs to get this spacer in. They go on top of the strut. Very easy!
I just took it in today to get the alingment done on it so I dont wear out my tires the wrong way.
Now Im thinking about getting some type of muffler on it. I like flowmasters sound and have always used them. Might just go with one of those.
So far I have a K&N cold air filter kit, air lift bags in the back to help out with towing and now I have the front end lifted to level out the truck. I plan on going with bigger tires but I want to save up for gears so that I dont lose power with the bigger tires. Oh and a locker of some type for the rear.
I was also wondering. Do they make manual locking hubs for the 2010 Taco yet? That would be another one on my to do list. I cant figure out why they dont offer that as an option. I hate wearing out those CV's! And I really dont care that I would have to get out and manually switch them. Already use to that from my other rig.
Well guys thats about it for now. This is my first time writing in this section. I use to have a 1992 Four Runner with the dreaded 3.0 but finally got the balls to buy a new truck, my first new truck ever! Feels like Im doing this all over again but with a different rig. Buying all this stuff!
I'll tell you what! It sure is great working on something and not even gettting dirty with grease. I can actually work on this and not run into a stuck bolt or nut or see something else that needs to be replace while working underneath the truck. I Love this!!
Alrighty yotatech peeps, I will talk to ya later!
