2010 Taco 6" fabtech kit install

Some of you know of my on going 4runner build, and you may remember the pics of my moms 07 Taco that was rolled last winter. For those that don't, here is the thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-death-188923/ She had an 07 with a 6" fabtech kit and 35s on 17" dc1 wheels. Well she loved the truck and purchased a new one shortly after rolling the other one. We had been waiting for fabtech to tell us if they 09 kit was going to work with the 10 and since my mom is inpatient we decided to just order it and hope for the best. My stepdad and my best friend Wade got started right before I got home from work, unfortunately no one took any before pics so Ill just start with the make over

Parts laid out

Tear down

Buddy Wade doing work

Front diff OUT!

Sawzall for the win, no going back now!

Cross member out

My buddy Wade welding in the block off plates

count them dimes! Not bad for a 110 flux core!

After some paint

My Buddy Joe also showed up to help out, he slid underneath to put in the back cross member

After that, we bolted up the front cross member and the 3 of us man handled the diff back in

Diff in

What do we have here ?

Pure awesomeness...Fabtech coil overs are just that sexy haha

Called it a night after getting the new spindles and everything in, and started up again this morning and after a quick re-do on the sway bar set up (had to in board the links against how fabtech wanted them installed) we bolted up the front wheels/tires

Onto the back, unfortunately we didn't take many pics...nothing really exciting...just your typical add a leaf and block with some longer shocks and brake line extenders

All finished up

All the Yotas together

Thanks for looking! Not sure if anyone else had done one of these kits on a new truck yet but if have any questions don't hesitate to ask

-Mike

Wow! Excellent pics - thanks for sharing. Just curious, is this a complete kit or did you customize the setup? This setup only took you a day?
