I would agree. If your not going to drive it off road then why not throw some rims on it?

I guess since I'm younger then some people on here I dont think it looks that bad at all. Pretty nice wheels, very clean look. No stickers, nothing dumb....I've see alot worse, some of them being in stock form oh well...to each their own i guess....

this is what i mean... maybe i didnt say it correctly, i meant it is not as bad as the starter of this thread brings it out to be... personally i think 22s is jsut way too much, 17 or 20s would be the biggest i would ever go on naything i ever own, but its not ghetto at all... so it has rims and a stereo, that makes it trash? i dont think so....

Nice rim/tire setups seem to fit the new 4th gens better than all the other gens. Must be their new sleek/modern look.
I'm not a big fan of the chrome though, I've seen some nice gunmetal grey or just polished steel that looked better.

Although I've seen far worse, I don't like it that much. I'm just not a fan of huge wheels and little bitty tires with about 1" of sidewall. You're just begging for a blowout. And a harsh ride. I like my 15" rims and a big, beefy tire. And I'm 18. Guess I'm just weird. At least he doesn't have spinnners on it. I think those should be outlawed. I almost ran off the road becuase I thought a car with spinners was about to run a stop sign when they were really just sitting there. Spinners are about the dumbest idea I've ever seen.......{rant over}

yea, i agree spinners are a huge waste, too gaudy, too heavy, too expensive.. and i never even considered the misconception that the vehicle is moving or not (not many spinners around here).

i think theres 3 ways to go with a vehicle, either lift it and get it ready for trails, keep it stock and make it mint, or lower it for performance purposes (cars only), 20+ inch rims are definetely not a performance enhancement, kill your braking distance. this ride is pretty clean, just wouldnt do it to anything i owned, trucks need a sidewall to be used for their hauling, towing, off-road capabilities.

i agree with the gunmetal idea for the wheels, although the chrome and white do look good together. at least the white will stay cleaner looking longer, hope the owner bought shares in chrome polish and tire dressing companies!

With all the extra metal that went into his fancy shmancy 20s, I coulda had me a nice set of Mickey Thompson Classics. And chrome valve stem caps. Now that, my offroading, mall-cruiser-hating friends, would be...pardon the overused cliche.......PIMP!

The only thing keeping that car from being ghetto is a chrome front grill and some mirror tint. Oh yea, and those subs are pretty sad and that amp is nothing to brag about either, but most of the pimp rides in the bay have pretty weak sound systems. (hearing your license plate rattle is not bass)

The only thing wrong are those ugly rims. I hate suv's and trucks with skinny tires.

Its funny how some of these guys spend so much money on the looks, and audio of the vehicle. Why not add some performance so at least if runs nice, and clean like the exterior.

I remember a "spinner" story that i heard:

Some guy was driving his car fast (equipped with spinners), until he slammed on the brakes, which sent his "spinner" flying in the air, and slicing some dudes neck on the sidewalk.

Theres too much bling and rice r's these days, bring back the muscle cars!
