Does anyone with the 4" lift or a revtek with the NE top spacer have pictures of their CVs. I know NE states that given the negative angle to begin with that a 4" lift isn't a problem. Does it put the CVs right at the edge of being tolerable or does it come no where near the excess angle? Thanks!

If you look at some of the 3" lifts on previous gens. here on the board, you'll see that most look far more extreme than even Billy's 5" lift cv angle! I'll post that pic below so you can see what 5" looks like too.

yeah, i'd recommend that. i probably won't get a diff. drop because that would take away an inch or two of ground clearance .... and my cvs are at a good angle right now. unless i decide to lift to 5" or more (and i don't think i will because i need to be able to fit into my garage) i don't think i'll drop the diff. but ... that option is definitely available (or will be soon).

I think Steve Schaefer(SSchaefer) also has alot of good reading on his site also

unfortunately not but you can look them up in the members list, Robinhood and sschaefer I think. sschaefer posts in the vendor section alot with his custom bumpers and panhard bar.

 

I suppose I should jump in here. As mentioned, there is a ton of info out there on cv angles, etc. etc. etc...and shaeffer is a great viable resource...read up for sure. As far as our NE kit, the 4" put your cv's at about 8 degrees. I am running a solid 5" in the front at 41" from the ground to the bottom of the fender...a stocker sits at 33" with the 31" tires...so of course my 37's help to get me to 41" as well. I have had the front end of my rig apart nearly 20 times, and am still resting at what I feel is a safe angle of my cv's, though we are working on remedying this situation as I type this. As stated by r0cky, NE is working on a partnership with another company to setup up a 1.5" diff drop kit, which would put my 5" back to 3.5", and a 4" kit to 2.5"...basically preventative maintenance. Nitrous Enterprises has put days and months into the R&D of our products, and would not even bring them to the market if we did not believe in them 110%. I hope that helps.
