newbie with a ?

Hi all, I just purchased an 07 Tacoma access cab TRD. I want to put an ARB bumper on the front. My problem is I don't want to lift a brand new truck. Stevinson toyota, where I bought the truck said I don't need a lift as long as I don't add a winch. A guy from Slee Off road said the truck would drive a little weird if I didn't lift it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Aaron

I put an ARB bumper(no winch) on my '05 TRD DC SB in January. I already had the daystar spacer kit (hope to replace it someday) to clear my 285's. The bumper weighs about 115 or so. It did settle a little bit, not much. In the 6 months I have had it on my truck I have not noticed any thing weird while driving the truck. If you are running stock tires (265's I think is what they came with) you should not having any issues.
I ordered my bumper from TRDparts4u.com (free shipping). Had the bumper in 8 days from date of order and they have got some of the best customer service...

you can always install the bumper and decide if you want a lift later on.

not gonna be any cheaper either way you choose to do it

Thanks for the info guys. I like the idea of the bumper for added protection and the look. I just don't want to lift the truck until the 36k mile warranty is done with. That's why I was concerned if I "had" to lift it or not when doing the bumper. Thanks again
