My friends 2006 taco actuates
it's locks at will and its killing his battery. How can i easily disable the system?

 

I would recomend you find the problem & fix it instead of just disabling it. Does he have an aftermarket alarm?

 

I agree unless you would like the truck to go up in flames. lol. There is a reason why they are draining the battery. That's not normal.

 

they are going up and down at will in the middle of the night.
during the day......whenever.
I'm guessing it's a factory set up.
Anyone know where a control box is or a fuse or a relay I can pull ?

We have no choice...there is no time for dropping it for a few days at a
shop. We'll deal with it later.
