2.7L manual Trans rear gear ratio?

I searched - didnt find what I was looking for.

Im considering an 3RZ swap
I would probably use an R series Trans
I was able to find (in wiki of all places) the trans gear ratios so I could compare a w56 to an r150

What I wanted to know was
-- did a 2.7L Taco come with 31" tire and if so what ratio was in it "stock"?

The impression Im getting is that the 22RE trucks that came with 31" tires usually had a 4.56 ratio (factory)
BUT
Tacos with the 2.7L and 31" tires come with a 4.10 ratio... is this geerally correct?

DOH

http://www.toyota.com/tacoma/specs.html

Toyota site claims that a 2007 Taco 4x4 reg cab 2.7L has 4.10 gears with P245/75R16 tires (about 30.3" by 9.5" )

and that the MPG is (4x4: 19/23)
but 4x2 is 23/28mpg...

is the heavyness of 4x4 that much of a hit on mpg?

I could be wrong, but aren't most 2wd on smaller tires and lower to the ground? That's how it was with older tacos and pickups. Still, 5 mpg is quite a jump.

OH

2WD
3.31 rear
P215/70R15 = 27" diameter
---- 25" per engine rev (4th gear 1:1)

4WD
4.10 rear
P245/75R16 = 30.5" diameter
---- 23.3" per rev (4th gear 1:1)

so about 10% (rounding alot here) more distance per rev in 2WD
Rough translation - around 10% better economy is oh 3mpg (not counting aero effects)

My gear ratio is a little too high for my liking. I know for a fact that it is not 4.10.
