wrx hood scoop

Well i've got the chance to get a wrx hood scoop for free. I was thinking about putting it on my 95 4wd pick up, it would not be functional i would just drill the holes to mount it. What are your opinions? here is what the scoop looks like on the wrx:

call me a little weird, but I might consider mounting it backwards and putting some gauges in it.

You could mount it forward on the hood, sort of over the radiator, and cut the hole out. It might help with heat loss on the trails and a little forced cooling while on the road.

Since it's free pick it up, put where you want it and take some pics.

I can;t really imagine what it would look like, but it's free so no loss if you just mock it up without drilling any holes
