Will 31's fit on stock 89 Pickup?
On another post here a guy has some Wild Country 31 x 10.5s for sale near me. I have a stock 1989 pickup. 5sp 22re. Will the tires fit? and any other suggestions if they do or dont?

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
31x10.50's all day long, you could even go to a 33's if you be careful, you might get a little

The tires will fit without any rubbing. My '94 4WD pickup came stock from the factory with 31X10.50's, as did my 4runner. The only thing is that I think that the rims are slightly wider, not 100% sure though

I got some 31x10.5 wheels on my 4runner this weekend, they fit perfectly without any rub. I also ordered some American racing black rims(AR767). I cant wait to mount them. Next item i need is shocks. Anybody have suggestions. I dont have a clue on what to buy or a good site to buy them from.

As mentioned 31X10.5's were an option stock on stock wheels. You can fit 33X10.5's if you want.
If you are worried about rubbing with a given tire, simply turn the wheel lock to lock and measure the clearances. You will have to measure up like 3 inches or so to imagine where the tire is compressed but you can get an idea of what rubbing you might encounter.
