Replaced alot of parts on this truck, im the 2nd owner. Its been a daily driver for me the last 4 years after I inherited it. Today I became the 2nd owner of a nice 95 4Runner. Needs a coat of paint but everything works great. Heres a bit of her specs...

448,000km on my 88 4runner, that's 280,000mi, 22RE and Trans were rebuilt, rear end sounds like its going to die pretty quick.

Here's my old '89 2wd Deluxe Extracab. Bought it used in 1992 w/~70k miles on it, bone stock. Put the complete Downey Pro Desert kit on it. Jumped the crap out of it. Put 250k miles on that kit, then went to the Fabtech Dan kit in 2000. Downey front fenders, 33's, stock 3.73 R/P. Toyota did the head gaskets @ 250k. No problems with them, but took advantage of the recall anyway. Put the first clutch in it at 610k. My son's outgrew the cab size, so I sold it last year (at ~ 620k miles) to buy a '90 4Runner.

No wrecks, original paint, interior, frame, engine (3.0, with the headgaskets that were done at 250k), trans, rear end etc. The graphics faded over the years, and I wore through the paint in spots on the hood and roof from waxing it so often. Passes emissions every time, my buddy bought it and uses it daily.

I took this photo a couple years ago one night at the Wyoming/Idaho boarder:

Tanker Kranker that is awesome. I hope mine makes it that high. I have a 3.0, 176K right now, running strong.

Edit: When I got it it had ~70K also...

Can anyone beat 358 000 miles?

For starters, this thread gives me total reassurance in my 3.0L. Thank you for the thread! I got my 89 ext cab for $300 with a torn apart motor. Was told it had sat for two years due to lack of interest in finishing. Looks like a hg. 251,xxx on odometer. Everything was original it appears. Although timing belt looked brand new.
