Who's got the highest odometer reading?
#124
- 213903 miles = 344 245km's
- 3L V6
- 4 runner, 5 spd 4x4
- new 4.56 diffs and hubs, engine was replaced with a used one and every seal, every gasket was replaced along with timing belt and water pump
- no accidents that i know of, original frame
- Its 3 different colors, i have $6000 in Red Deer Toyota receipts from the last owner. Just bought it to get to school and it looks cool with 31x10.5's with black wheels. Figured even tho the millage was high it'll last another few years at least...if its ANYTHING like my 1980 pick up.

1986 4x4 P/U 5spd
Freshly rebuilt, and it looks like this is the fourth (and final) boring these cylinders can handle. Replaced the valves this time but it's still the original head. I can't decide whether it's worth it to buy a new one or not.
When I pulled the piston out of cylinder #2 the rings basically crumbled, which explains the ungodly amount of oil that the engine and engine bay were coated with. The buddy of mine that I bought it from told me that he thought it was a head gasket leak. Heh. I did the engnbldr full rebuild kit with the steel timing chain guides, etc.
He wasn't the original owner, but I can't find any bondo on this little guy anywhere. The only major thing, which isn't major at all, is the foot ball sized dent in the front fender that someone pounded out with a ball peen. Other than that it's pretty straight.
Other than bumpers and the knockoff rockcrawler rims that are on it, I plan on keeping the outside appearance basically stock. No bobbing or anything. Inside I'll eventually throw a cage and some new carpet. Some lockers and SAS are an eventuality. I just want a reliable hunting truck and daily driver.

1995 EL5 3.0 5spd 4x4
extra cab
6 inch skyjacker lift with shocks
31 inch mudd terrains
HG just redone by me, along with the timing belt and tensioner, knock sensor wire, and tune up. Engine is a little noisey but runs like a champ.
Flow master duals from muffler back.

since you brought up another make, had a friend with an 86' Suburban with over 6,000,000 miles on it. original diesel and tranny. it was his grandfathers who went site-seeing around the country in it.

1: 285,xxx
2: 22R
3: 87 pickup X-cab 5 spd, 4x4
4: Installed head at 275,000, regular maintenance items otherwise
5: No known accidents, but front bumper was dented when I bought it..so I guess at least one.
6: For it's mileage, this puppy did NOT burn any noticble oil between changes, ran GREAT, etc, etc, etc. Some a-hole stole it a while back and I decided to take the insurance cash (mistake). I bought it for $900 about 5 years ago and it was the best damn truck I ever had.
Now I have a 92 22RE 4x4 with 225k that has been a PITA! lol Live and learn I guess.

toyota miles.
This is my friends truck then mine.
1. over 330,000 the odometer stopped at 270,000 for a little over 60,000 and then started working again.
2. 3.0
3. 1992 toyota pickup extra cab.
4. timing belt done once clutch done once head gaskets done from factory recall around 100,000.
5. well we were looking at the truck on the passenger side and realized someone hit it and took off but it just adds character.
6. My buddy got it from his grandfather who has had it since new. It is rusty and has over 300,000 and it still goes offroad and gets ok mileage.
My truck.
1. just about to hit 103,000
2. 22re
3. 1994 toyota pickup single cab auto 4x4
4. head replaced at 81,000.
5. The original owner said it was never hit but the front drivers corner was hit at one time. The gap between the hood at the quarter panel is off and you can see where the door rubbed the quarter panel at one time.
6. I always admired the truck when I drove by it and one day as I drove by I saw an old man taking off the plates. I turned around as fast as I could because I had been looking for one for years. He said he had retired due to heart problems and it was automatic because his wife wanted to use it to go to work if it snowed so he special ordered it. Talk about ruining all the fun. He said 1200 I said 1000 and we split the difference.

163,000 miles. '94 4x4, 22re 5 speed. Popped the headgasket 4.5hrs from home in a blizzard w/ 4" of snow on the main divided highway all the while in 4wd. I had no choice but to drive it home. Refilled with water (no sense in losing coolant) every hour, spewing white smoke out the back all the way. I was one of only 5 cars that I saw during the entire trip.
When I parked it, cylinder 3 filled with water, so I drained the whole system so it wouldn't freeze, pulled the plugs and cranked it over to get rid of any water in the cylinders. Threw a headgasket on it (during that same blizzard) over a few days after work, been fine ever since.
Stupid 22re.
