330,000 miles
1995 4x4 extended cab base model truck
3VZE
No major engine or transmission repairs...CVs, UJs, timing belts, brakes and other such maintenance things.
distributor will need to be replaced soon. Still pulls 2 horse trailer on back roads of lower Rocky Mountains!

210,000 miles on my 99' 4runner (338,000km)
Still runs like a champ.
other than regular maintenance, the t-case output leaked all the oil out (had to replace t-case) and the radiator cracked internally (mixing coolant and tranny oil)...
had to replace a couple interior bulbs, power antenna motor, passenger side door lock actuator, drivers side seat frame "fell apart" replaced that with a good used piece, "door holders" (that hold doors open on hills) wore out, oh yea also the rear tailgate plastic trim cracked that holds the key in, had to replace that. Mostly little crap. Motor has never had the intake off that i can see...

I drove my stepdads 84 4x4 22r truck. It had 1,221,809 miles on it before he sold it. And it was about the worst looking toyota truck you have ever seen. The transmission got so old that 2 of the gears simply disintegrated and had to be replaced, not to mention the truck would fall out of gear if you went up too steep of a hill. I suppose that this isn't really a fair mileage since his brother was the service manager of a local toyota dealer and replaced just about everything on this truck about 3 times. But the odometer kept on rolling!

LOL! Yeah, I would rather not drive anything than be stuck with a Volvo. "They can't do much, but they can do it for a loooooooooooooooooong time"

Lowest Odometer!

1: 62222 KMS as of today. Not miles.
2: All original 22re
3: 2wd, (future prerunner)
4: No rust whatsoever
5: Was completely dent free til today, I hung up my passenger rocker panel on a rock.
6: Bought from a Hyundai dealership that took it in on trade from an old guy who owns a vinyard. He used it only as a farm truck for 13 years, then started driving it on the road to bring his grandkids to school. I bought this truck 3 years ago when I was 16 for $6000. Fully loaded with AC and power steering.

1. 378k
2. 3.0
3. 91 4Runner 5 speed
4. Just bought it a couple thousand miles ago so not sure of history. Runs like a champ. Replacing plugs and wires this weekend. Got some rust on 2 doors, most of the windows are off track or the motor needs replaced. Next big job, replacing motor on tailgate window. Thanks to your posts, I think I am ready to tackle it.

1. 279,567 today
2. 22RE
3. 1986 Pickup DLX, unfortunately an automatic, longbed,
4. It had a rebuilt engine from 85' put in when the truck had 173,782 on it. The transmission is original, the frame has been welded back together with 3" angle iron, the engine in it now has almost had the timing chain break and wear out the wall on the driver side (just barley caught that).
5. If you count rocks, trees, and running into stuff as accidents, then yea i got plenty of those.
6. My 22RE, running tires only 10mm taller than stock, with no other upgrades, while doing as much preventive maintenance i can, i get between 8-9 mpg on average. With the ac running, well lets say i can watch the fuel gauge move. but i do believe that its just in need of a PROPER rebuild, this engine was never gently used, even today i dog the hell out of it. Oh, and I still got the factory shocks on it that it shipped with back in 1986, 25 years and they aren't blown, Toyota win!

22RE extended cab 1992 "made in Japan"
Fitting new timing chain kit and case this weekend, was a gift from my father in law - was put to one side in the workshop when it developed a unexplained coolant leak into the oil

I thought my truck had a lot of miles (176k) but this thread sure does prove me wrong!! It does however give me some more confidence in the little 22re engine!!! Now if I could just find out if my truck (unlifted) can push 30x9.5r15 tires!

It rolled over at least 3 times maybe 4, so either 256k,356k,456k I'm thinking 356k but its hard to tell.
20R
1979 Toyota P/U short bed 4 speed
I know the head was replaced in 1989 with at least 174k on it. other than that just some maintenance , I'm still going through service receipts.
