whine

So i have a whine that sounds kind of like i have a gear drive set up but not quite that loud. It only makes the noise when i am accelerating which makes me think its not the motor but more of a drivetrain sound, it doesnt really get louder with rpm either its pretty steady. Also it is coming from the front end area not the rear. Any ideas?

86 pickup, 5spd, 22re freshly rebuilt, 220,000 miles on most of the drivetrain.

Transmission input bearing is going. Does it change or get quieter in 4th gear? If so then that is it. If you fix it now you may be able to save the trans, if you don't it will start popping out of gear and then bye bye.

Where did you add the sealer. I have a squeal at start up followed by constant whine or whirring. Listened around with a stethoscope and the whirring is loudest at the power steering pump.
