Where to find white fender
So I bought a white fender for my 93 pickup. Was so excited an they sent me a white off tan color from a 90 pickup. I'm just wondering where I can get a used white fender not some vanilla color.

$500??? Ask a used car dealership who does their touch-up work and call him. I would expect it to cost half that. Still won't match perfectly, but I dont think the right color used fender will match perfectly either

if you want it to match you'll have to get your white fender painted and your door blended. Just because its the same colour code doesn't mean its the same colour. if its been re-sprayed at any time, sprayed in different condition, different amount of uv damage, ect the colour will be different. Some colours that I paint in our shop have 11 different variants. So 11 different "shades" of the same paint code. its not as easy as "white is white"
If a shop is asking $500 to spray a fender, tell em' to go stuff it and find another shop. Put it on yourself, even prep it your self if they'll let you and you'll save big on labour costs.

500 for a fender? you need to get a different estimate, that crazy. Use this opportunity to learn how to do your own paint work. Its really not that difficult and there are a of How to's online to show you how its done. I could paint my whole truck with several clear coats for way less than 500.

Matching white is almost like matching black, over time it's gonna be tough, good luck with the quest
If its the cheap spray on you can try kinda picking it off with a plastic blade( you can get those from a body shop) but you can also try anything that won't scratch the paint. Are you talking like minor overspray or little globs of it??

if we get some boxliner overspray in our shop we use mopar glass cleaner (the foamy kind) and a new razor blade. White doesn't show scratches easilly so it will be fine. If your paranoid use some polish on the spots once the goo is gone.

When I had to replace a fender, I looked into painting it myself. A local Sherwin-Williams dealer would mix the paint to the factory color code, but by the time I bought 1 qt of paint and 1 qt of hardener and solvent and reducer and an HVLP sprayer setup, it was going to cost several hundred dollars.
As others have pointed out, it probably wouldn't match the 18-yr old factory paint. Plus, I had some degradation of the paint on the hood, and a few bits of "shopping cart rash," so it would make no sense to get a sparkling-new fender with the rest of the truck as-is.
A paint shop can get the supplies much more cheaply (they already have the hardener, reducer, solvent, etc -- they only need to buy the paint), plus they do this for a living.
I ended up just leaving my glossy black fender on my silver truck. If I ever tire of it, I'll get a cheap paint shop to touch up the worst dings, then paint the whole truck to some color I like.
