some left over things i have and am not sure where the go. (2 pics of each thing)

first is an oil pressure sending unit located on the block. Driverside on the 3.0 and 3.4 on the 22re's is on the pass side


This one looks to be the coolant temp sensor usually located on the intake manifold in the back


Looks like a knock sensor which is under the intake manifold on the 3.0 and 3.4 I think its on the side for the 22


Not sure on the bracket. What truck or 4runner do you have? we have no way to tell what were dealing with motor wise and truck wise

1. oil sending unit for vehicles with gauge (pass block, in oil galley)

2. Knock sensor (pass block)

3. Oil sending unit for vehicles with idiot light (pass block, in oil galley)

4. Fuel pump mounting bracket. (pass side block above and behind oil filter)

Nope, thats an oil sender. Coolant senders are mucho smaller

I knew it was for a 22RE

yea i guess you guys need to know what it is lol, its a 94 22re 4x4. if any one has pics of where these go that would be very nice.

so there are 2 oil sending units? the motor that was in my truck before was an 83 with the old block and head, so i bought a new block and head these parts come out of the old block so im not sure if i even need all of them and i do have a oil pressure gauge. i dont know if that helps any

Only one of those sensors is supposed to be in there. It depends on what you have. Based on the connector in the first pic, thats a 92-95 22RE connector. If you have gauges, you need to use that sensor. If you have an idiot light, you need to use the second sensor.

ok there are two holes in the pass sode of the block that go into the oil valleys, i put both sensors in but are they in the rite spots


also is this where the knock sensor goes???

thanks its been almost a year sence the tear down and was planning a 4.3 swap instead of rebuilding the 22re
