Swapping in new torsion bars

Anyone have some helpful advice before I tackle this job? I bought some new 25.5mm TB's from Sway-A-Way (Downey backordered mine till Jan) and I also bought new TB bolts and nuts from Toyota.

Im going to remove the old and install the new this weekend. It doesnt look to tough, but anyone who has done this before and has some advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

take your time, jack the front of the truck up and support it with jackstands, chock the wheels, be safe.
the bars should be marked in some manner for left or right, so make sure to not get the bars on the wrong side.
measure the vehicle to the ground so you can adjust the new bars to the same height.
a light coat of wheel bearing grease on the splines will help you get it out if you want to later.
bounce the bumper between adjustments to 'settle' the springs

x2 on above, and remember, a LIGHT coat.

When I did mine, I packed in the grease, thinking to reduce the chance of any squeaks. This is bad because there is no where for the grease to go, and you will not be able to put the bar in all the way.

Good luck!

and then pulling the bar out is difficult because of suction.
