Wheel Bearing Grease...

I've been using a super-duper better than anything in the world (according to THEIR claims) high-dollar synthetic grease from wal-mart in my wheel bearings for about 100,000 miles now, but it seems to be a lot thinner than some of the gooey stuff I've seen used in the past on wheel bearings (it's the blue/green stuff). I've packed them three times with it now and there doesn't seem to have been any particular wear, but having read what others use it has me a little concerned. It says it is good for wheel bearings but it seems a little thin.

Any opinions or facts?

High temp wheel bearing grease found at any local auto parts place will work.

Hehe....fairy dust is my way of saying "glitz and glam" marketing. Fairy dust is magical....makes any product transcend time, space, and all laws of nature!

The only thing I smoke is good ol' American Spirit, anymore. The other stuff.... well, that's off topic!

About lubes, though...
From what I know, from BITOG, is that you can't go wrong with sythentics these days. They're all pretty good stuff. Just whatever is compatible with the application. That being said, I've been using Amsoil and Mobil1 since I've owned Toyotas. Make 'em last wherever and whenever you can. They're worth it, IMO.
