Hi, i have a 1992 Pickup 303,000 kms, i get some heat, but barely, i have to run the fan full speed to get comfortable...
My friend has a 91 with 305,000 kms, no heat...
Anyone know what it could be??? Seems like it could be something common around that kind of mileage/years???

Use low pressure and try to back-flush the heater core. Many times this will work to get some of the built up gunk out. Just keep the pressure low when you do it, as you don't want to risk popping the two gaskets in there.

Worst case scenario, you'll have to replace the heater core. Not all that bad of a job, there's a half-tutorial linked in my signature below. Even someone who's clueless should be able to tackle the full job in a day providing they don't hit any snags.

And have the vacuum handy, now's a great time to vacuum up all the crud behind the dash and in the blower motor/duct work.

You have checked that coolant level is correct??

That the valve that operates to allow flow through the core is working like it should.

i don`t think changing a heater core is easy if you have AC

If I was going to all the trouble to pull it out time for new and the hardest part are then hoses in the engine compartment.
